Pakistan's invites former Prime Minister Manmohan for the opening ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor

New Delhi: Former Prime Minister of India and veteran Congress leader Manmohan Singh will not accept the invitation from Pakistan. The Kartarpur Corridor jointly created by India and Pakistan will be opened for devotees on 9 November. An invitation has been sent to Manmohan Singh to participate in this program.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has given information in this regard. Sources say that Dr Manmohan Singh will not accept the invitation from Pakistan. Sources say that inviting former PM Manmohan Singh for the inauguration ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor is a new move in Pakistan, but the move will not succeed. Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, "We would like to invite former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh to the opening ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor. He also represents the Sikh community. We will also send him a formal invitation."
