Islamabad: In Pakistan these days the discussion is going on whether the Imran Khan government wants to forgive the sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav, retired officer of Indian Navy. Pakistan's opposition parties have accused the Imran government that the idea of abolishing the sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav is being considered through a secret ordinance.

Retired Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav (50) was sentenced to death by a Pakistan military court in April 2017 in a false case of espionage and terrorism. The uproar over Kulbhushan Jadhav in Pakistan increased so much that the Law and Justice Ministry there had to present a cleanliness. A spokesperson of the Ministry of Law and Justice issued a press release on July 18, saying that the allegations of forgiving Kulbhushan Jadhav's sentence through a secret ordinance are false.

According to the report of Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Sena Raza Rabbani of Pakistan People's Party accused the government why the government is not keeping this ordinance in the Parliament of Pakistan till now. Opposition parties of Pakistan have said that the government has issued an ordinance regarding Kulbhushan Jadhav, without following the constitutional provisions without trusting the country's parliament.
