Melbourne: The T20 World Cup 2022 final between Babar Azam-led Pakistan and Jos Buttler-led England is scheduled to be played in Melbourne on Sunday, November 13. While Pakistan would like to push England on the backfoot with their strong bowling attack, England will respond to them with their own strong batting line-up. In such a situation, fans will get to see the tremendous thrill in the final match. By winning the final match, Pakistan and England will also be eyeing to equal the World Record of the West Indies by winning the title.

In fact, the West Indies is the only team in the history of T20 cricket so far, which has won two T20 World Cup trophies so far, while India, Pakistan, England, Sri Lanka and Australia have become champions once each. Whether Pakistan wins or England in Melbourne, either team will match this world record of the West Indies. Pakistan won their first title in 2009, while England became champions the following year in 2010.

However, Pakistan's T20 World Cup 2022 did not start well. The team had to face a close defeat by Team India in the first match. Pakistan's biggest shock came when Zimbabwe also washed them out in the second match. After this defeat, Pakistan was almost out of the T20 World Cup. But, after this, Pakistan won the next three matches, in the end, they also got the support of luck and Babar Azam's team managed to reach the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, Pakistan defeated New Zealand and made it to the final. Now it remains to be seen whether luck also favours Pakistan in the final match, or England takes the trophy.
