Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has agreed to undertake Test and T20 tour of England facing the outbreak of Corona virus epidemic but if the players have any apprehension about this deadly disease, they will not be forced to go on tour. PCB chief executive Wasim Khan told a news channel that Pakistan had agreed to travel to England 'theoretically' for three Tests and three T20 matches. Wasim said, "We had a detailed and comprehensive discussion with the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) on Friday about the tour and the PCB has agreed in principle to send its cricket team to England in July".

On Friday, it was agreed in the discussion through video link that Pakistan will play matches in the absence of spectators in the stadiums where there is a hotel inside the stadium. But the players will not be compelled to go on tour against their wishes. Wasim said, "If a player does not want to go, we will accept his decision and no disciplinary action will be taken against him." However, according to the information he received, all the players want to go on tour.

Wasim said that in the first week of July, 25 players will go to England in four chartered planes and they will be kept separately there. "Manchester and Southampton could be potential venues for the Test series and the ECB will announce the third venue soon," Wasim said. Wasim said he would provide information related to the tour next week, including Test captain Azhar Ali and ODIs and T20Is. Captain Babar will give it to Azam. He also said that before going on a tour, approval will be taken from the government. More than 27 thousand people have died due to Corona virus in England and more than one lakh 30 thousand people have been confirmed to be infected with this epidemic.
