A total of $ 4.80 billion (about 34 thousand crore rupees) of such loans have been taken. Apart from this, bilateral and multilateral loans were also taken. The Finance Ministry of Pakistan had told the Senate in May this year that the foreign debt on the country has increased to $ 88.20 billion (about six lakh 28 thousand crore rupees).
