Pak govt announces financial aid of Rs 1 cr for sikhs killed un train-bus accident

A minibus on last fridaycollided with a train in Sheikhpura district of Punjab province of Pakistan on Friday. During this time, 21 Sikh Pilgrims lost their lives. Meanwhile, now the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan on Wednesday announced that they will provide help to the families of those 21 Sikh pilgrims who died in a train-bus by collision last week of One Crore Rupees. Wazir Jada, special aide of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who reached Bhai Jog Singh Gurdwara, expressed grief over the accident and announced compensation for the families.

He said that the families of all those killed will be given a compensation of Five Lakh Rupees. In India also, the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee has decided to give One Lakh Rupees to the families of Sikh pilgrims killed in Pakistan. The committee has also decided that they will also give compensation of 50-50 thousand rupees to the Injured Pilgrims. In result , The Pakistan Aviation Authority suspended the licenses of more than 34 pilots of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)  with fake degree certificates. Licenses will remain suspended till the ongoing investigation against the pilots is completed.

The PIA had terminated the services of 52 employees on various charges including fake degree certificates. There was a revelation in the National Assembly that some pilots have 'suspicious and fake licenses'. After which the PIA banned more than 140 pilots from flying the aircraft. According to media reports, it has been reported that after reports of fake licenses, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on Tuesday ordered its 32 Pakistani Pilots were grounded and recommended not to schedule flights with Pakistan Pilots. The complete clarification on this is yet to be received.
