Lahore: Former captain of Pakistan women's cricket team Sana Mir has announced to retire from international cricket on Saturday. With this decision, his 15-year career also ended. The 34-year-old Sana has played 120 ODIs and 106 T20 Internationals for Pakistan and has scored 1630 and 802 runs respectively. He has also taken 151 and 89 wickets respectively.

Sana has captained 137 matches for Pakistan from 2009 to 2017. He said in a statement, "I want to thank the PCB, who gave me the opportunity to serve my country for 15 years. It is a matter of great honor and pride for me. I would like to thank all the support staff, I am thankful to the players, the field staff and all those who have provided backward support. "

He said, "I also thank my family and guardians who supported me unconditionally and fulfilled my dream of representing Pakistan. In the last few months I got an opportunity to think. I feel that this is the right time . I have given my best to sports and my country. " Let me tell you that Sana made his ODI debut in December 2005 against Sri Lanka in Karachi and in May 2009 against Ireland in Dublin in T20 International cricket.
