Football is undoubtedly in its best time financially, but the great Brazilian football player Pelé felt that it is not a golden period of football in terms of quality. The three-time World Cup winning player has said that there are not many great players in the countries.

Pelé told Sportstar, "There was a time when you saw two-three great players in every country. Such as Antonio Simoce, Johann Kruyf, Franz Beckenbauer, Diego Maradona, Garincha, DD, I can tell you how many names." Pelé said, "Today we have two or three players in total, Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo .. Neymar too but they have not yet become great players in Brazil."

Pelé believes Neymar is a great player and will do well in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. He said, "I hope he will be in a good position in the next World Cup. People criticize him too many times but we forget that he has left Santos." Pelé said, "We always want him to do well. I talk to his father a lot about him. Technically he is a great player."
