ISLAMABAD: Pak police claimed on Friday that Khyber had caught the main accused in a mob that broke the temple of Hindus in Pakhtunkhwa province. This accuser is a member of a radical Islamic political party associated with the mob.
It has been learned that the accused who led the mob that broke the temple in Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has been identified as Faizullah. Faizullah, the main accused for breaking the temple, has also been arrested in Hasrat on Friday by Police Chief Sanaullah Abbasi. Abbasi has claimed that Faizullah provoked the mob to break the temple and is leading a violent mob that broke the temple. The police chief said that 110 people have been detained so far in this issue. In this shameful incident in Terry village of Karak district, after destroying the tomb of the religious leader Paramhans, the temple was vandalized and burnt.
Hindus are a minority in Pakistan.
