The Syrian branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) is reportedly prepared to send additional forces to Lebanon in the event of a full-scale conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, according to a report by the Associated Press (AP).

Ismail al-Sendawi, the national relations officer for Islamic Jihad in Syria, stated that Palestinian youth are eager to confront the Israeli occupation and join Hezbollah in resistance efforts. His remarks were made during a ceremony in Damascus commemorating PIJ members from Syria who have lost their lives in the past eight months fighting against Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.

AP reported that sixteen Palestinian refugees from Syria, all members of PIJ, have been killed in these confrontations.

Here are the main overnight developments:

At least 14 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in Gaza City's Tuffah neighborhood and the Shujayea area following a series of airstrikes. Dozens more were injured in these attacks, as reported by the Palestinian news agency, Wafa.

Israel's military conducted airstrikes, targeting a Hezbollah missile launcher in southern Lebanon's Yaroun area, and a "munitions warehouse," "military building," and "terrorist infrastructure" in the Ramyah, Hula, and Aitaroun areas.

More than a dozen rockets and missiles were fired from Lebanese territory toward northern Israel on Friday evening.

Two Palestinians were injured, one critically, during an early morning raid by Israeli forces in the Jalazone refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, according to Wafa.

Agricultural lands planted with olives and almonds were burned following an attack by illegal Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, as reported by the news agency.
