Narsinghpur: (Report of Sandeep Rajput)- Polling has been held for 15 wards of Zila Panchayat in the district. Even though the election results of these wards have not been officially announced, the faces of the BJP have bloomed after the counting at the booth level. On the other hand, there is disappointment in the Congress camp. According to information gathered from their sources after the booth level counting, BJP-backed candidates are seen getting ahead in the Zila Panchayat.

Sources so far suggest that Congress-backed candidates have taken the lead in three of the 15 wards, while surprisingly independents in two wards and BJP-backed candidates in eight wards are being mentioned.

If it is a matter of the remaining two wards, here, despite not being made the official candidate of the BJP from ward number 6, the candidates who have contested the election are being said to be ahead, while in ward number 8, the BJP did not declare its official candidate. Sitaram Namdeo of the BJP is said to be victorious from here.
