Director Ashutosh Gowariker, who has made films like Lagaan, Jodha-Akhbar, Mohan Jodaro, is currently in discussion about his upcoming film Panipat. After the film's trailer was released, he was threatened by different organizations. These organizations have accused the director of manipulating historical characters and events. Along with this, objections have also been raised on some scenes of the film. Meanwhile, Ashutosh has given clarification regarding the film.

According to The Indian Express, Ashutosh Gowariker said, "Whenever we make a film based on history, it is natural to raise the question of which part is shown in the film and who is excluded. When you have a history book, you have a lot of information to put. That is why it is called an account. But when you bring history to the screen, you have to cut and prepare a way from where you will start and end the story. ' He said that many others like Mallar Rao Holkar, Janco ji Shinde, Maharaj ji Shinde, Balwant Rao Mahendre Alkaji Mankeshwar, Purandare have contributed to making Panipat, so we have cleared the doubt and now it is all right.

Ashutosh says, "When I am shooting a film, I always make a promise to myself that the next one will be a short film. It will have two characters, a house in Switzerland and a one-night story. In this way, there will not be many attire. But this promise is broken every time. 'According to India TV, Mumbai Police has provided security to Director Ashutosh due to threats. At present 200 policemen are deployed at the director's house.
