A new controversy has emerged about the recently released Ashutosh Gowariker's film 'Panipat'. The Jats of Bharatpur in Rajasthan object to the script of the film. Therefore, the effigies of the director of the film are also being burnt. The film has again come into controversy.

These protesters allege that Maharaja Surajmal is misrepresented in the film. In fact, in the film, Maharaja Surajmal is shown interacting with Maratha Peshwa Sadashiv Rao Bhau in Haryanvi and Rajasthani, while people believe that Maharaja Surajmal spoke purely Braj language. The descendant objected. He said that Kriti Sanon's dialogue discredits Mastani and Peshwa. In the trailer, Kriti tells Arjun Kapoor, "I heard when the Peshwa goes on a solo drive, he returns with a Mastani". The dispute was about this dialogue.

Based on the third battle of Panipat, the film stars Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. While Arjun is playing the role of Maratha Peshwa Sadashiv Rao Bhau, Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of Ahmed Shah Abdali.

Panipat is praised by the film critics and audience, it made its Saturday day better. The film 'Panipat' has earned a grand total of Rs 5.75 to 6 crores on the second day i.e. Saturday. The film 'Panipat' has collected Rs 10 crore in two days.
