New Delhi: Famous biscuit and confectionery company Parle had recently hit the headlines due to its losses. There was a rumour that the company was going to shut down. But ignoring all these things, the company is going to introduce its old product Roll-a-Cola candy in the market. The company hopes to sell Rs 100 crore in a year after bringing this candy to the market again. It is to be known that Parle is introducing the Roll-a-Cola candy in the Indian market after 13 years to the customers.
Government takes a big step in the process of integration of banks
The company hopes that sales of this candy will contribute up to 10 per cent of its total business in a year. The sale of Parle's Roll-A-Cola Candy was discontinued in 2006, which is now being resumed after 13 years. The company is producing it again due to the interest shown by consumers on social media. Significantly, Parle gets around 13 to 15 per cent contribution to the business from his confectionery vertical.

Speaking to a news agency, Krishna Rao, Senior Marketing Dead of Parle Products, said that given the demand of consumers, the return of this candy is important. "Based on social media interaction, keeping in mind the consumer demand, the return of the brand is very important. We may be in a position to sell around 200 tonnes of Roll A Cola in the coming times".
