New Delhi: Debates have started regarding the Monsoon session of Parliament amid Coronavirus crisis. It is going to start on 14 September, but before that the debate has started. This time the question hour is not included in the session and the war between the government and the opposition has intensified. At this time many kinds of questions are being raised by the opposition. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has surrounded the government. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor tweeted about this matter.

In his tweet, he writes, "I said four months ago that strongmen leaders would use the excuse of the pandemic to stifle democracy&dissent. The notification for the delayed Parliament session blandly announces there will be no Question Hour. How can this be justified in the name of keeping us safe?"

In another tweet, he has written, "In a parliamentary democracy, asking questions to the government is like oxygen. But this government wants to make Parliament like a notice board and is using its majority as a rubber stamp. The only way in which accountability was being decided is also being done away with. Not only Shashi Tharoor but Congress leader Rajiv Shukla also tweeted on this issue".

He tweeted and wrote, "How can this happen? There is an appeal to the speaker to see this decision again. Question Hour is the biggest strength of Parliament". TMC Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Trivedi also targeted the government. He said that "It is the duty of every MP to oppose it because this is the platform that you can ask questions to the government. If this is happening, is it the new normal which is happening for the first time in history". In this way, many ministers, former ministers, leaders are now giving their opinion about it.
