Part of under-construction bridge collapses on Badrinath highway, many people in trouble

Dehradun: The part of an under-construction bridge near Narkota on Badrinath highway in Uttarakhand collapsed. Nine persons were buried in the debris, out of which 5 persons have been rescued. 3-4 persons are feared to be buried in the debris. Rescue teams of disaster, police and administration are engaged in relief and rescue operations. The bridge is being constructed under the All-Weather Project. The RCC company is building it. About 10 people were involved in its construction. Suddenly, a part of the bridge collapsed.

A video has also surfaced after the incident, in which a worker engaged in the construction work of the bridge can be seen crying. He is crying while talking to someone on the mobile phone. Due to this, someone asks him if any of his partners have been hurt, and then he starts crying badly.  

On July 8, a car had fallen into a river in Ramnagar in Uttarakhand, in which 10 persons have washed away. Police and SDRF recovered the bodies of nine persons after the rescue. A girl and a woman were rescued. The accident took place in the Dhela zone of Corbett National Park, located between Ramnagar-Kotdwar road. According to reports, 11 people hailing from Punjab had set out to visit tourist places in Uttarakhand in an Artiga car.
