New Delhi: Passengers of a plane that arrived at Delhi airport suffered a lot of trouble for half an hour. Even after landing on the Delhi runway, the door of the aircraft remained closed for 45 minutes. This led to chaos inside the aircraft. The inconvenience caused to the passengers increased when the gate of the Indigo flight from Raipur to Delhi did not open and one of the passengers' health deteriorated. However, all the passengers of the aircraft are safe and the airlines have also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
Passengers onboard an aircraft at Indira Gandhi International Airport remained trapped in the aircraft for 45 minutes. The Indigo flight arrived at Delhi airport late on Sunday night. One of the passengers on board was unwell. After waiting for 45 minutes, the restlessness among the closed passengers continued to increase.
World Hindu Parishad national spokesperson Vinod Bansal, who was on board the plane, also complained to Indigo Airlines and the union aviation minister on Twitter. He also shared a video inside the plane on social media. Bansal said he took off from Raipur to Delhi at 9.45 pm on Sunday. In Raipur itself, the aircraft arrived about half an hour late without giving any reason. Passengers were forced to remain on the aircraft for 45 minutes after the plane landed at Delhi airport. Nothing was clearly said when asked the reason for the delay from the personnel on board. Sometimes the ground staff was avoiding saying that there was no clearance. This added to the woes of the passengers. The aircraft landed at 11 pm on Sunday but passengers were forced to stop for 45 minutes. The passengers remained in hostage condition for 45 minutes in the aircraft.
It was on Twitter where Indigo regretted replying to Vinod Bansal on the whole episode. It has been said by the Indigo that at the end of the day, the parking lot was changed, which does not come under our purview.
