New Delhi: A hearing on the petition demanding a new death warrant for the hanging of Nirbhaya convicts is going to be heard in Patiala House Court today. At the same time, the new lawyer provided by the court to the guilty Pawan will put Pawan's side in the case for the first time. The Tihar administration and Nirbhaya's parents are about to issue a new death warrant to hang the 4 accused soon.

According to the information received, it has been learned that Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana will hear the petition of the families of Tihar and Nirbhaya's parents. In the last hearing, the court-appointed public prosecutor Ravi Kazi to present the case of convict Pawan. It is also being said that earlier, the previous lawyer AP Singh was appearing in the court for Pawan. On Monday, Ravi Kazi will present his arguments for the first time on behalf of the convicted Pawan and will also tell whether a curative or mercy petition was filed on behalf of Pawan or not. On the other hand, the lawyers of Nirbhaya's side will demand the issuance of a new death warrant for the hanging of the culprits.

It is also important to note that currently all the legal options of Nirbhaya's convicts Vinay, Mukesh and Akshay have been exhausted, but the fourth accused Pawan still has a chance to file a curative and mercy petition. Although on February 5, the High Court gave an ultimatum to use all the legal options of the convicts, but no plea was filed on behalf of the convict Pawan between this period. The first lawyer of the convicted Pawan, AP Singh, in the last hearing, distanced himself from favoring Pawan. After this, the court appointed another lawyer Ravi Kazi to defend Pawan as his advocate.
