There seems to be a rift in the Grand Alliance this time even before the Bihar assembly elections. Hindustani Awam Morcha, an ally of the Mahagathbandhan, has announced that the party will contest the Bihar and Jharkhand assembly elections on its own. Former Chief Minister and National President of Ham Jitan Ram Manjhi has taken this big decision.

In this case, Jitanram Manjhi has alleged that despite his repeated calls, the Co-ordination Committee could not be formed in the Grand Alliance. Because of this, there is a lack of coordination among the alliance partners. In such a situation, fighting elections alone would be better.

In his statement, he said that in Bihar as well as Jharkhand assembly elections, the party will try its luck independently. The decision of who the candidates will be from the party in the Jharkhand assembly elections will be taken on 10 November. He has authorized the party's National Principal General Secretary Santosh Kumar Suman to conduct further activities for the Jharkhand elections. Manjhi said that in the event of NRC (NRC) coming into force in Bihar, the party will work to establish Dalit-Muslim unity. Continuing the membership drive, Manjhi also talked about setting up a booth-level committee by December 30.  Leaders who do not do so will not be president after December 30.
