PATNA: Indian Railways will launch the first Vande Bharat Express for Bihar shortly in June. After the train's seven carriages arrived at Patna railway junction on Tuesday, the trial run is anticipated to start within the next two days.

As per reports, the train was brought to the coach complex at Rajendra Nagar Terminal after arriving at Patna Junction. The Senior Engineer of IFC Chennai will specifically observe the Vande Bharat Express trial run. The date that the Vande Bharat Express would start running on the Patna-Ranchi route has not been officially announced.

The exact date for the Vande Bharat Express's debut is expected to be announced by the end of this month, said railway officials. It is also expected that the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express' intended route will soon be decided.

With two loco pilots, the train can carry 530 passengers on a single trip. The train's speed will range between 128 and 130 kmph. It is also expected that the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express' intended route will soon be decided. The Railway ministry intends to run the Vande Bharat Express over the recently constructed Patna-Gaya-Koderma-Hazaribagh Town-Barkakana-BIT Mesra-Tatisilwai-Ranchi track to cover a distance of about 378 km. The trip will take the high-speed train six to seven hours.

There are now 18 Vande Bharat Expresses running on various routes in India. 2019 saw the debut of the first Vande Bharat express train on the New Delhi-Kanpur-Allahabad-Varanasi line.
