These days, the case of MeToo has once again been revealed in Bollywood. Recently, actress Payal Ghosh had accused the filmmaker-director Anurag Kashyap of rape. She has now stated her problems due to no action against Anurag. She has written a letter to President Shri Ram Nath Kovind on Monday. Writing this letter, she has requested to intervene in the matter. Payal writes in her letter that 'the accused is roaming free and I am asking for justice with folded hands'.

She has shared the picture of this letter on her Twitter account. Sharing this letter, Payal wrote, 'This is my letter to the Honorable President. Justice is getting delayed, it might just as well be denied'. In her letter Payal has written, 'Even after writing an FIR against the accused on 22 September, no action has been taken against him. The accused is an influential person and therefore the police officers are not arresting him. If a poor man had committed the same crime, the police would have arrested him immediately on the same day.'

Payal further wrote, "In my case, if the criminal is influential, then he is roaming free. To get justice as a victim, I am knocking at every door with folded hands. In these circumstances, I request you to please interfere in this matter and help me in getting justice. ' Earlier Payal had also met RPI leader Ramdas Athawale, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Along with this, she also demanded Y level security from Maharashtra's Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and the country's Home Minister Amit Shah.
