Digital payment company Paytm has raised more than Rs 100 crore for the Prime Minister's Civil Assistance and Emergency Relief Fund (PM-Cares) through its platform to tackle the Kovid-19 crisis. Along with this, Paytm had earlier announced that it intends to contribute Rs 100 crore to the PM-Cares fund. With this, Paytm has said that it will make an additional contribution of ten rupees on every payment on Paytm using every contribution or wallet, payment through UPI or Paytm bank debit card.

Paytm said in a statement on Saturday that the contribution through Paytm app has crossed Rs 100 crore within a few more days. This initiative is still going on strongly. The company said that its employees have paid their 15 days, one month, two months and some even three months salary in PM-Cares. Before this, Paytm has partnered with Indane Gas Limited Company for the convenience of people, under which customers will be able to book gas cylinders online.

You will be able to pay the cost of these cylinders in the form of digital payment. Indane Gas has introduced digital payments keeping in mind the safety of its customers and employees. On the other hand, customers will be able to scan QR codes and make payments.
