NEW DELHI:: Paytm Payments Bank today, March 15, announced the bank now has more than 2 million users on Paytm UPI LITE. "Paytm recorded over half a million daily transactions for Paytm UPI LITE through the Paytm app", it said in a statement.

A Paytm Payments Bank official said, "We have experienced remarkable acceptance of Paytm UPI LITE, having crossed the milestone mark of over 2 million users within a short period of time. With Paytm UPI, we deliver blazing-fast payments that never fail, driven by the most recent UPI LITE technology and the security of Paytm Payments Bank, it added.

Paytm UPI LITE offers single-click transactions that always succeed even when banks experience problems with success rates during busy transaction times.

Once it has been loaded, UPI LITE makes it simple for users to make quick payments of up to Rs 200. UPI LITE allows for two daily additions of up to Rs 2,000 each, for a daily usage cap of Rs 4,000.
For successful payments, Paytm UPI uses the most recent UPI LITE Technology and delivers three levels of bank-grade security.

Moreover, payments performed with UPI LITE won't appear in the passbook, giving the user a clean bank statement. When money is added to the UPI LITE balance, just one entry is recorded.

The statement read, "As the first payments bank to introduce UPI LITE, the Bank continues in its legacy of providing technology-led innovative solutions for its people, revolutionising daily transactions.
