New Delhi: According to the National Meteorological Forecasting Centre of the India Meteorological Department, light rainfall is likely to occur in north-west, central and western parts of India for the next 5-6 days. Rajasthan: The arrival of monsoon in southwest in west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and rest of Punjab is expected to lead to development of favourable conditions.

Bihar, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Meghalaya are also likely to receive widespread rainfall in the next 5 days. The impact of the relief that took place in the country's capital Delhi yesterday, that is, 3rd July, continues to have an impact today (Sunday). In Bihar, Jharkhand, North Chhattisgarh and Gangiya West Bengal, lightning accompanied by light to severe thunderstorm is also expected for the next 24 hours.
