Saran: More than 50 people fell ill after having lunch at a wedding ceremony at Kondh Kheri Tola in the Panapur district of Bihar on Monday night. Last night, the people of the village at Katha Matkor had eaten rice, dal, and vegetables. It is being said that after eating food, the people of the village started vomiting, diarrhea, and restlessness along with stomach ache from this morning. The number of people getting sick continued to increase. On receiving information about the illness of a large number of people, the health team from Panapur PHC reached the spot and started the treatment of the patients.

Along with this, ambulances were called from Panapur, Taraiya, and Mashrak. Those whose condition is more serious, Om Prakash Singh's daughter Sonali Kumari, Satish Singh's daughter Ritika Kumari, Rita Devi, and Randhir Singh have been referred to Chhapra. The others included 80-year-old Sushila Devi, 13-year-old Randhir Kumar, 11-year-old Ranveer Kumar, 50-year-old Hira Sah, Saraswati Devi, Om Prakash Sah, and Vikas Kumar Singh.
Apart from them, 4 dozen people including Vicky Kumar, Naveen Singh, Ankita Kumari, Subodh Singh, Amitez Kumar, Ravish Kumar, Sujata Devi, Chandni Kumari, Pappu Kumar Pandit, Priyanka Kumari, Roopkanti Devi, Vinita Devi, Ramdayal Singh, Akash Kumar, Vivek Kumar, Munna Kumar Singh, Virendra Pratap Singh, and Ayush Kumar are also ill. A team of doctors, including a block development officer, zonal officer as well as a station house officer, has set up a camp in the affected area.
