People took to the streets against Kejriwal's 'liquor policy'

New Delhi: Protests are being witnessed in every locality over the opening of new liquor contracts in the country's capital, Delhi. People in the locality seem to be enraged by the opening of liquor contracts in their colonies. People say they will not vote for AAP in the near future in the manner in which liquor contracts are being opened in their localities.

Tell us that the new excise policy has come into force in Delhi from November 17. With the introduction of the new excise policy, all government liquor shops in Delhi have been locked. Now there are plans to open a fresh 849 new liquor shops, which people from delhi's RWA and colonies are constantly protesting against the government in the localities. Whether it is Delhi or posh colonies in the North East or South Delhi, people have taken to the streets with the manner in which new liquor shops are being opened in all areas. The liquor contract to be opened near Babarpur Assembly in north east Delhi is becoming a problem for visitors.

Kapil Mohan Sharma, who lives in the locality, has said that the liquor contract being opened at Gonda Chowk in Babarpur Assembly has a nearby government school in which more than 10,000 children study, how will it affect them. Neither the MLA the locality nor the minister are thinking about it.
