Mumbai: The loudspeaker controversy in Maharashtra is not taking its name to stop. Even after strict police arrangements, Hanuman Chalisa was recited by putting loudspeakers in front of mosques from some areas. At Charkop in Kandivali, Mumbai, MNS workers recited Hanuman Chalisa on a loudspeaker on the terrace of their building at the time of Ajan. At the same time, in the midst of this war, the police has issued a notice to MNS chief Raj Thackeray under CrPC 149. Notices are issued under section 149 of CrPC to prevent cognizable offences. Cognizable offenses are those in which the police can arrest someone without a warrant.

At the same time, the war between MNS leader Raj Thackeray and the government is increasing over the shutdown of loudspeakers in Maharashtra. MNS workers have been detained by the police at many places after Raj Thackeray warned of reading Hanuman Chalisa in protest against Ajan. According to the news, MNS workers Nitin Naik, Praveen Hange and Sharad Dighe have been arrested by the police.

MNS President Raj Thackeray's troubles escalated when the Aurangabad police filed a case against him two days ago for his "inflammatory" speech about loudspeakers over mosques. At the same time, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Maharashtra said that appropriate legal action will be taken against him on this issue.
