Washington: Online National Anthem will be organized in Hindu temples located in North America on the occasion of Bhoomi Poojan to be held on August 5 for the construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Religious groups of America have given this information on Saturday. The Hindu Temple Executives Conference (HMEC) and the Hindu Temple Priests Conference (HMPC) issued a statement on Friday, calling for a national prayer to be held simultaneously across the US on the occasion of 'Sri Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan' to be held in Ayodhya.
It said that on this auspicious occasion, the temples of America, Canada, and Caribbean islands will serve in the 'Charankamal' of Shri Ram on the eve of the ceremony. Pandit Krishna Kumar Pandey, founder, and head of the Shiv Durga temple in Bay Area, California, has said, "The historic celebration of August 5, 2020, is a new era for the global Hindu community. We should celebrate this day as a festival from now on."
In the US, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has said that on 5 August, when PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the temple in Ayodhya then on that occasion prayers will be organized in America. Mass chants will be held in North America, after which the hymns of Anoop Jalota and Sanjeevani Bhelande will be heard.
