New Delhi: After the elections in Maharashtra, the petition filed by Shiv Sena with the NCP and Congress against the formation of the government has been rejected by the apex court. The Supreme Court gave the arrangement that in democracy we cannot stop any political party from forming an alliance. Earlier, Justice Ashok Bhushan questioned the lawyer whether the court should interfere in the pre-election and post-poll alliance?

At the same time, Justice Ramna said that your petition has no meaning now that the coalition should be stopped from governing. Actually, this petition against Shiv Sena was filed by All India Hindu Mahasabha leader Pramod Pandit Joshi. It was said that the government formed on the basis of the post-election party alliance should be declared unconstitutional. The Shiv Sena contested the elections along with the BJP, but the government is forming another party which is a betrayal of the voters.

Earlier, the same bench of the apex court had ruled to conduct floor test in Maharashtra. The top court had said that the governor should appoint a pro tem speaker. MLAs should be sworn in by 5 pm on Wednesday. A majority test should be held immediately thereafter. There should be no secret ballot and live telecast of proceedings. However, after the resignation of Ajit Pawar and then Devendra Fadnavis, there was no need for floor test.
