There has been a relief on vehicle fuel prices in the Indian market amid volatility in crude oil prices at the international level. Petrol and diesel prices are stable for the fourth consecutive day across the country today (November 07, 2021). Government petroleum companies have not changed the prices of petrol and diesel on Sunday as on Saturday. State that many states are reducing VAT on petrol and diesel after the central government cut excise duty. This is providing relief to the individuals amidst the onslaught of inflation.

According to the same petroleum marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, petrol and diesel prices are stable on November 07. Petrol in the national capital Delhi rests at Rs 103.97 per litre while in Mumbai at Rs 109.98 per litre. On the other hand, diesel is being sold at Rs 86.67 per litre in Delhi today (Sunday) and Rs 94.14 per litre in Mumbai on October 07. Speaking of metros, petrol and diesel are the most expensive in Mumbai. On the other hand, the cheapest petrol is available in Chennai so diesel is the cheapest in Delhi. Delhi government has not reduced the VAT of petrol and diesel at present.

Oil marketing companies fix the price of petrol and diesel daily after reviewing the prices. Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum Oil Companies update the prices of petrol and diesel in various cities every morning.
