In the Indian market today, the price of both petrol and diesel fuels is stable for the 9th consecutive day on Tuesday. According to the new prices, there has been no change in petrol and diesel prices even today (September 14). According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest fuel retailer, petrol prices are stable at Rs 101.19 and diesel at Rs 88.62 per litre in the national capital. However, petrol and diesel prices continue to remain at record levels across the country.

Mumbai has the highest price among major metros:-
Petrol is Rs 101.19 per litre and diesel is Rs 88.62 per litre in the country's capital Delhi. While petrol is Rs 107.26 per litre and diesel is Rs 96.19 per litre in Mumbai, the country's economic capital. In Kolkata, petrol is Rs 101.62 per litre and diesel is Rs 91.71 per litre. Similarly, petrol is priced at Rs 98.96 per litre and diesel at Rs 93.26 per litre in Chennai. Petrol and diesel are the most expensive in Mumbai if we compare the four metros of the country.

Oil marketing companies fix the price of petrol and diesel daily after reviewing the prices. Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum Oil Companies update the prices of petrol and diesel in various cities every morning.
