Today (Thursday) i.e. September 30, state-run oil companies have again hiked petrol and diesel prices. According to IOCL, petrol prices have been hiked by about 25 paise per litre and diesel by 30 paise per litre in almost all cities of the country today. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest fuel retailer, petrol prices rose 25 paise to Rs 101.64 and diesel by 30 paise to Rs 89.87 per litre in the national capital on September 30.

In Mumbai, petrol was recorded at Rs 107.71 per litre and diesel at Rs 97.52 per litre. Diesel prices have been hiked 4 times in the last 4 days across the country. Indian oil companies had increased by 20 paise on September 24, 25 paise a litre on September 26, and diesel prices also rose on September 28.
