New Delhi: Even today, news about the rising prices of petrol and diesel has been reported, there has been no increase in the price of petrol and diesel on Saturday as well. There has been no change in the prices of both fuels for the past 14 days. Even after this, the rate of petrol in Delhi and Mumbai is at its all-time high. The price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 91.17, while the price of diesel is Rs 81.47 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 97.57 and diesel at Rs 88.60 per liter.

The prices of petrol and diesel are running at an all-time high in all the metros of the country. In the month of February, the price of petrol and diesel have increased daily for continuous 16 days. Last month, petrol in Delhi became expensive by Rs 4.74 and diesel by Rs 4.52. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 7.36 per liter in the capital Delhi since January 1. Eventually, diesel has also become expensive by Rs 7.60. In 2021, the price of petrol and diesel has increased in 25 installments so far.

The oil marketing companies revise the prices of petrol and diesel every day at 6 o'clock in the morning. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles. The price of petrol and diesel changes every day, depending on what the prices of crude are in the international market along with the foreign exchange rates.
