New Delhi: Government oil companies have not made any change in the prices of petrol and diesel on Friday. Meaning even today the public has got relief from expensive oil. Government oil companies have not been making any changes in the price of oil for over one month. Rates remain the same in all metros including the capital Delhi. The last change in the price of petrol was reported on 22 September.
Petrol-diesel prices are stable on 6 November in Delhi today. Petrol is being sold today at Rs 81.06 per liter. While diesel is being sold at Rs 70.46 per liter yesterday. There has been no change in the price of petrol and diesel in Mumbai, the economic capital of India. Petrol is Rs 87.74 per liter and diesel prices are Rs 76.86 per liter. Even today the prices of petrol and diesel are stable in Kolkata. The price of petrol yesterday is Rs 82.59 per liter and diesel is priced at Rs 73.99 per liter.
Similarly, in Chennai, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol costs Rs 84.14 per liter and diesel costs Rs 75.95 per liter. Oil companies such as Indian Oil Corporation review fuel rates on a daily basis, and implement any changes with effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the prices of petrol and diesel gets almost double.
