The international market is witnessing a steady spurt in crude oil prices. Even today there are signs of mild edge. On the other hand, when it comes to petrol and diesel prices in the domestic market, there is no change here today. State-run oil companies have kept fuel prices as they are. On Sunday, petrol prices were hiked by 35 paise per litre and diesel by 25 paise a litre. After this hike, the price of 1 litre of petrol in the capital Delhi touched Rs 98.52 and diesel at Rs 88.95. Tell us that petrol has crossed Rs 100 per litre in many states. These include Jaisalmer, Ganganagar, Hyderabad, Leh, Banswara, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Guntur, Kakinada, Chikmagalur, Shivamogga, Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Aurangabad and Leh.

How expensive petrol and diesel have become:-
Petrol prices have been rising intermittently since May 4. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 8.14 per litre in the last 32 days alone. On the other hand, diesel has climbed by Rs 8.11 per litre.
