Manikandan R Achari made a big impact in Malayalam with his debut film 'Kamattipadam' and has since become one of the most sought after stars in Mollywood. He got engaged to Anjali a few months ago and got married in a simple way with only family members in a temple on Sunday morning.

Manikandan, who made his debut in Tamil films with superstars Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi in the film 'Petta', released a video on Saturday in which he said, "Hello, I am Manikandan. Not saying much, you all know everything. Tomorrow, 26th, Sunday, is my wedding. (We) decided to make it simple, with only family members attending it. At a temple nearby, there will be the thalikettu (tying of the knot). Your mental presence and blessings will be there, I hope. If you’d like join the wedding celebration, do post videos or wishes online. Hope you are all there with me. After this (COVID-19) is over, I hope to get together with all of you, for a celebration of some sort.”

For your information, let us tell you that Manikandan has donated the entire amount which was to be spent in the disaster relief fund of the Chief Ministers of Kerala for a grand wedding to fight against the deadly coronovirus. In fact, they have done a great job and have demanded to have a bright future for the newlyweds here.
