Phase 4 of Lok Sabha Elections: West Bengal Tops, J&K Lags in Voter Turnout

In the ongoing Phase 4 of Lok Sabha elections, citizens across the nation are actively participating in voting. As of 9 am, West Bengal witnessed the highest voter turnout at 15%, while Jammu and Kashmir reported the lowest at 5%.

This phase covers 96 constituencies spread across 10 states and union territories. Additionally, assemblies in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are also up for election today.

Here's the breakdown of constituencies: Andhra Pradesh (25), Telangana (17), Uttar Pradesh (13), Maharashtra (11), Madhya Pradesh (8), West Bengal (8), Bihar (5), Jharkhand (4), Odisha (4), and Jammu and Kashmir (1).

Simultaneously, polling is also underway for all 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and 28 seats in the Odisha Legislative Assembly.

West Bengal: 15.24%
Jammu & Kashmir: 5.07%
Madhya Pradesh: 14.97%
Jharkhand: 11.78%
Uttar Pradesh: 11.67%
Andhra Pradesh: 9.05%
Bihar: 5.07%
Telangana: 9.51%
Odisha: 9.23%
Maharashtra: 6.45%
