Amritsar: In Punjab, only a day has passed since Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as the Chief Minister and he has been embroiled in controversies. Actually, there has been a dispute regarding the removal of the picture of the great king of Punjab, Maharaja Ranjit Singh from the office of CM Bhagwant Mann. BJP state general secretary Subhash Sharma tweeted, "Dear Bhagwant Mann ji, it is very commendable to put the picture of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Babasaheb in CMO, but by removing the picture of Shere Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh, you have not only insulted this great person but also the whole of Punjab. Apologize immediately and put back the picture with full respect. On the other hand, there is no explanation from Mann's side as to why the photograph of Shere Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh was removed from his office. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) 48-year-old leader Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as Punjab CM on Wednesday. With this, he became the second-youngest CM of Punjab. Earlier, Prakash Badal (43 years) became the youngest Chief Minister of Punjab at the age of 43 years.┬а

Mann was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit, which took place at Khatkar Kalan, the village of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh. During this time, Bhagwant Mann had said that there is a special reason to come here. Earlier, the first swearing-ins used to take place in palaces and stadiums. This time the swearing-in ceremony has taken place in the martyrs' village. Remember those who gave us this country, just a little remembering March 23 and September 28. They are nestled in our hearts.┬а
