Bharat Ratna and Swar Kokila Lata Mangeshkar are no longer in this world. Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last at the age of 92. She had been admitted to The Breach Candy  Hospital in Mumbai for a long time now. She had corona. She had won the battle with the coronavirus, but on Saturday morning, her health deteriorated again and she was put on a ventilator. Yajnas were also performed in every nook and corner of the country for the speedy recovery of Lata Mangeshkar, but still, Swar Kokila could not win the battle of life. The entire country is saddened by the passing away of Swar Kokila. Lata Mangeshkar was born on September 28, 1929, to the famous musician of Indore, Dinanath Mangeshkar. She started singing at the age of 5. She used to do music with her father.  

Lata Mangeshkar had shared some childhood photos on her Instagram. While sharing a photo, she also gave a very cute caption in which she wrote - On December 16, 1941, with the blessings of God, Pujya Mai and Baba, she sang 2 songs for the first time in the studio for radio. Lata Ji had sung a song for the Marathi movie 'kiti hasal' in the year 1942 but has released the song from the movie at the last moment. After which Vinayak sang for the Marathi movie of The Navayuga film 'Pratham Mangala Gaur' which came out in 1942.

According to media reports, Lata Mangeshkar has also sung more than 30,000 songs in more than 20 languages. She is the first singer in India to have this record set in her name. The duo of Lata Mangeshkar and RD Burman is still remembered today. R.D . Burman treated her just like his sister. In this photo, the two are together and Lata Mangeshkar is laughing at something.
