A death has shaken the whole of America. Violence has been seen after the death of George Floyd, an African-American citizen in police custody. At least five people have died in these violent demonstrations so far, while thousands have been arrested and curfew imposed in nearly 40 cities while President Donald Trump has to take refuge in a White House bunker .
The pictures of violence that are going viral at the moment are heart-wrenching. These violent demonstrations in America are considered to be the biggest civil unrest in the last several decades, after the death of Floyd, at least 140 cities have spread in America. After taking violent forms of some demonstrations, troops of National Guard have been deployed in at least 26 states. Thousands of people in many countries including London, New Zealand are taking out a march for the people protesting in support of Floyd. Pictures of looting stores by protesters from the city of San Francisco of America have also come, which has surprised everyone. Not only this, but Floyd has also been charged with third-degree murder and murder on a former police officer who suffocated on his neck.
The protesters say that the allegation is not very harsh, and a case should be registered against the other officials involved. US President Donald Trump, amid the violent protests after George Floyd's death, admitted that George Floyd's death was a serious tragedy and that a large number of protesters gathered outside the White House in Washington last Sunday to stonewall. Instructions have been issued to the White House staff as a precaution that they hide their I-cards and during this violence, 60 personnel of the American Secret Service have also been reported injured.
