Varanasi: Electricity is the center topic of Uttar Pradesh election polls 2017. The Samajwadi Party always claims about electricity in their government, but unfortunately, the situation didn't support UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav's claims.

As per the reports, soon after the press conference by Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power Piyush Goyal ended, conference faced the electricity issues.

Piyush Goyal visited Uttar Pradesh to talk about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's work for power generation projects, but as he ended his speech, conference spot lost the electricity and leaders faced the challenges to run the conference. Power Minister Piyush Goyal directly pointed Akhilesh about this issue, as Akhilesh always claims about 24/7 electricity services.
