Information has been received that EOW CO Sohrab Alam has told that a scam of crores has taken place in three forest ranges (Aligarh, Iglas and Khair). Between 2010 and 2012, crores of rupees were spent in planting trees and digging pits. According to the CO, after getting the information, the Forest Department conducted a departmental inquiry. Khutale has been confirmed in this. This includes officers and forest rangers. Around 20 people have been found guilty in the investigation. Departmental inquiry report was sent to the government.

Trees not found in pits: Sources say that Inspector Radheshyam Dwivedi told that the forest department claimed to plant lakhs of trees in all three ranges. Millions of tenders ranging from plants to digging pits were also tendered. Investigations revealed that only twenty to thirty percent of the trees were planted.
