Petition filed in SC regarding Sushant case, demand to take status report of the case

New Delhi: A Public Interest Litigation has been filed in the country's largest court for investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The petition has demanded a status report from the CBI regarding the case. Significantly, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14, 2020 at his flat in Mumbai. Apart from CBI, ED and NCB are also investigating the case.

Nothing has been clear so far in the cctor Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The reconsideration petition filed on the charges of conspiring to kill the actor was heard in the court of ADJ One on Thursday. During this time, the lawyers of the accused filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar and Sajid Nadiwal appeared in the court. On behalf of Bhansali, advocate Saroj Kumar and the other three filmmakers, Priyaranjan alias Annu, appeared in the court. Advocates have appeared for Bhansali for the first time.

The court has fixed December 9 for next hearing. In the past, filmmakers were notified of the absence. On August 14, advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed a revision suit in the District and Sessions Court against eight film personalities including Salman.
