New Delhi: A public interest litigation has been filed in the apex court to send the migrant laborers back to the village due to the lockdown implemented due to the coronavirus. This petition has been filed by lawyer Prashant Bhushan. In this petition, the issue of workers trapped in lockdown has been raised. Prashant Bhushan's petition in the apex court can be heard on Monday.

The petition filed in the Supreme Court has said that the workers are upset by the lockdown. These people should be sent back to the village after a corona investigation. Forcibly keeping away from home is a violation of their fundamental right. The government should arrange for the migrant laborers to leave. Due to the lockdown, a large number of workers are stuck in Delhi and other states. Food is being arranged for these people by the state governments. The police, RPF to the common people are also arranging the food of these migrant laborers.
