Bhopal: Ahed of the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the immense power of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) booth workers. These dedicated individuals ensure direct outreach to the grassroots level, propelling the party to new heights as the largest in the country.
During an interaction with BJP booth workers in Bhopal, PM Modi expressed gratitude to JP Nadda for organizing the historic virtual event, which connected him with approximately 10 lakh booth workers. Never before has any political party hosted such a groundbreaking virtual program.
The selection process for these workers was meticulously defined by party president JP Nadda through the Namo App, including representatives from all states. Over a span of 10 days, these workers will engage with BJP workers at the booth level in states heading towards elections, exchanging valuable experiences and best practices.
This comprehensive initiative aims to activate party workers at the grassroots level five months prior to the upcoming assembly elections. PM Modi also acknowledged the significant role played by Madhya Pradesh in establishing the BJP as the world's largest political party.
"We are not workers confined to air-conditioned rooms, issuing fatwas. We immerse ourselves in the community, resolute in our commitment day and night," emphasized PM Modi.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister flagged off five Vande Bharat Express trains from Bhopal's Rani Kamalapati Railway Station, marking a new era of modern connectivity. He extended congratulations to the people of Jharkhand, Goa, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Karnataka for this enhanced transport network. Madhya Pradesh, in particular, was lauded for receiving two Vande Bharat Express trains, enabling faster and more comfortable travel between Bhopal and Jabalpur while boosting connectivity throughout the state.
Before the flagging-off ceremony, PM Modi engaged with the train's crew members and shared moments with children aboard the Vande Bharat train at Rani Kamalapati railway station.
The five Vande Bharat Express trains flagged off by the Prime Minister include the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, and Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express.
