During the interaction in Bangalore, PM Modi highlighted the instrumental roles these women played in the successful realization of India's inaugural lunar landing endeavor. This achievement marked a significant milestone as India became the first nation to adeptly position a lander on the uncharted lunar South Pole.

Speaking at the Telemetry Tracking and Command Network Mission Control Complex of ISRO on Saturday, Prime Minister Modi expressed his admiration, stating, "The accomplishment of the Chandrayaan-3 mission owes much to the involvement of women scientists. The 'Shivkshakti' site, where the 'Vikram' lander made its touchdown, will serve as an inspiration for future generations to enthusiastically embrace scientific pursuits for the betterment of society. Our foremost commitment remains the welfare of the people," which garnered enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Regarding the historic lunar landing by ISRO's scientists, PM Modi applauded their contribution in propelling the country to unprecedented heights. He remarked, "You, the ISRO scientists, have propelled our nation to unexplored realms. This is no ordinary feat. This mission underscores the prowess of our space research and program. India has left its footprint on the moon," he asserted while addressing the gathering at ISRO's Bangalore headquarters.

"In addition, we proudly unfurled our national emblem, the Tricolour, on the lunar surface," Prime Minister Modi announced, eliciting a round of applause from the attending scientists. His commendation of the ISRO scientists continued as he added, "You guided us to destinations hitherto untouched, displaying the spirit of today's India—a fearless and innovative India. Our perspective has evolved, giving rise to an India that instills hope even from the moon's obscure side."

He emphasized, "Contemporary India possesses the capacity to proffer solutions to the most pressing global challenges of the 21st century." Prime Minister Modi nostalgically reflected on the nationwide and international celebrations that ensued as the lander made its successful lunar contact. He mused, "Certain moments etch themselves into memory. The lunar landing stands as one such indelible instance."
