New Delhi: Today is the festival of Diwali which is being celebrated with gaiety across the country. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) today greeted the people of the country on Diwali (Diwali). He tweeted, "Heartiest greetings to the people of the country on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali. I wish this Festival of Lights brought happiness, prosperity and good fortune to all of you".

Talking about the Prime Minister, in 2020, he celebrated Deepawali with jawans at Longewala post on the Rajasthan border. In 2019, Narendra Modi visited Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate Diwali with soldiers on the LoC. Now, this time also, he will visit Jammu and Kashmir. Pm Modi is scheduled to visit Kedarnath on Friday, The 5th of November, the very next day of Diwali. Under the information received, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform puja at Kedarnath temple and also unveil the mausoleum of Adi Shankaracharya.
