New Delhi: On Saturday, April 6, as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrates its 39th Foundation Day Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah extended their wishes to the party workers. In a series of tweets, PM Modi said that "BJP was born with an unwavering commitment to serve society and take the nation to new heights." He also thanked the BJP workers for their efforts to make "BJP has become India’s preferred party." The prime minister tweeted "39 years ago on this day, BJP was born with an unwavering commitment to serve society and take the nation to new heights. Thanks to the efforts of our Karyakartas, BJP has become India’s preferred party. Greetings to the BJP family on the party’s Foundation Day.".

 

He added, "The BJP stands tall due to its democratic ethos and patriotic zeal. This is a party that is always on the ground, at the forefront of helping fellow Indians. Our development work has endeared the Party to all sections of society, across the length and breadth of India." PM Modi also added that he is "confident that the BJP workers would work day and night to ensure that the party is blessed again by the people of India to work for the country again."

 

Amit Shah posted a photo of the party leaders like Syama Prasad Mukherjee, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani and Narendra Modi and said the party is grateful to its leaders for the sacrifices they have made. Read one of Shah's tweet which he posted in Hindi "BJP workers consider the party as their own family. The development of the organisation and its political splendour has been possible due to the sacrifices made by these leaders,".
