Darbhanga: An FIR has been lodged in Bihar's Darbhanga for printing pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan on the admit cards of students. Earlier, after the admit card went viral on social media, the university registrar issued a notice and ordered an inquiry.

The admit cards were issued for the examination of BA Part III students in colleges of Madhubani, Samastipur and Begusarai districts affiliated to the Lalit Narayan Mithila University of Darbhanga. The head office of these colleges is in Darbhanga. When the students downloaded the admit cards online, they saw pictures of Prime Minister Modi, MS Dhoni and the governor printed on them and made them viral on social media. This university administration has taken strict steps and lodged an FIR against both the students at the university police station. However, the examination has not been denied in view of the future of both students. University Registrar Dr Mushtaq Ahmed confirmed this.

Dr Mushtaq Ahmed said that tampering with photographs of persons holding respected posts in the country is a big crime. An FIR has been lodged at present. Now the truth will come out in the police investigation. He defended the university, saying students themselves fill their forms online. In such a situation, there is no possibility of such a mistake on the part of the university. At the same time, blaming the students, he said that if such a mistake happened to anyone under any circumstances, then the student did not complain to the university and made it viral. In such a situation, the question arises in the mind of the students. Such actions of the student have also tarnished the reputation of the university. Let me tell you that even before this, the name of Bollywood actors Emraan Hashmi and Sunny Leone was printed on the admit card in Bihar. In Muzaffarpur, the names of these two stars were printed in front of the parent's names of the students.
