Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his 70th birthday this year. His diet plays an important role in it. He is a pure vegetarian and take food which is rich in nutrition. In breakfast, he prefers poha and khichdi. At the same time, let's tell you how to make this dish. How to make Modiji's favourite khichdi.


Necessary materials
1/2 cup rice,
1/2 cup Arhar dal,
1 tsp cumin seeds,
Finely chopped onions,
A small piece finely chopped ginger,
A green pepper,
A tomato,
Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder,
A pinch of Asafoetida
salt to taste

khichdi
Wash the rice and dal thoroughly. Heat the cooker and add cumin seeds, then add the onions and fry well and add ginger, chillies and tomatoes. Add Asafoetida and turmeric powder.

Once everything is cooked well, add washed rice and dal, add salt to taste and add water to the pressure cooker until the rice gets cooked

Turn off the flame of gas after six to seven whistles. Khichdi is ready.

Poha
Necessary materials
one-and-a-half cup Poha

Add half a teaspoon turmeric powder,
Half a teaspoon sugar,
Two boiled potatoes,
An onion,
A little roasted peanut,
One teaspoon cumin seeds,
Curry Leaf,
peppercorn,
Green Chili,
Two teaspoons lemon juice.

How to cook
Wash the Poha and drain the water and keep aside for a good five minutes. Add turmeric, sugar and salt. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the boiled potatoes. Add ground red chillies and salt to it while frying.

Heat the oil in a separate pan and add cumin seeds as well as green chillies, curry leaves and peppercorn. Now add roasted peanuts in the pan and fry for two minutes.

Now add boiled potatoes and Poha in the mixture. After switching off the flame, add lemon juice and serve hot after decorating with coriander leaves.
